Where to Begin?

So, Here We Are

I’ve been staring at this blank page for far longer than I’d like to admit.

Not because I have nothing to say, but because there are so many places to begin.

Do I start with the gifts? The travel ideas saved in my notes app? The concepts I’ve spent months dreaming up? The fact that I can spend an unreasonable amount of time choosing ribbon? I genuinely don’t know.

What I do know is that I’ve always been curious about why certain moments stay with us.

Why do we remember one dinner years later but forget another by the following week?

Why does a small gift sometimes mean more than an expensive one?

Why do certain places leave a mark on us long after we’ve returned home?

Those are the things I think about more often than I probably should.

This journal is simply a place to collect those thoughts.

Some entries will be about travel. Some will be about gifting. Some might begin with a photograph, a restaurant, a colour palette, or a random idea that refused to leave me alone.

There isn’t a grand plan.

Just a collection of things I’m noticing, creating, dreaming about, and occasionally overthinking.
